Mitt Romney has again mangled the facts about the ethics investigation of former House speaker Newt Gingrich and the circumstances surrounding his resignation.
In an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends” Monday morning, Romney said of his GOP presidential rival: “His experience as speaker of the House end[ed] so badly, with an ethics scandal and him having to resign in disgrace and with his own members, 88 percent of them Republican members, voting to reprimand him.”

Florida’s primary began like a lion but may be headed for lamb status as former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney looks headed to a clear victory over former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Tuesday.
This handy-dandy chart from the good folks at pollster.com, which aggregates all of the polling data out there on the Florida presidential primary, tells you everything you need to know about the relative momentum of each of the top two candidates heading into tomorrow’s vote. Romney has risen rapidly since losing in South Carolina on Jan. 21; Gingrich has dropped just as precipitously.

First lady Michelle Obama joined Labor Secretary Hilda Solis Monday to propose an expansion to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) that would give more job protection to military caregivers.
The proposed rules would allow spouses, parents and children of service members to care for their loved ones, attend military functions, or deal with child care and family finances “without fear of losing their jobs,”Solis said.
